2" RTE/OME install was successful
Hey everyone-
We started around 2pm, a little later than we were planning, but got everything installed in about 7 hours. The front was easier with three feet of extensions to reach the shock tower nuts in the engine bay. For the rear we removed the brake calipers, the other wire (ABS?) and sway bar connections to get enough drop. We didn't need the spring compressor to install the rear spring.
After putting some goop on the rear brakes to stop low speed squealing we read and cleared the SES light, it was "P0734 Gear 4 ratio incorrect." Now I just need to install the RTE sliders on when they arrive in a couple weeks, and replace the radiator due to a small leak.
Obligatory pics:
Edit- Pics are further down the page.

I'm using a genuine LR air filter which I took it out yesterday to see if it was bad. It's not too dirty, but I've been meaning to get a new one anyways. I went to Hollister for the first time with the NCLR guys on Saturday and didn't have any problem codes on the trails. This was thrown just after hitting the street leaving the park once I hit around 40-50 mph.

I rented an OBD2 scanner at Autozone and cleared the code after reading it. It has stayed off so far. I believe we did Truck Hill climb (awesome view from the top), as well as 5 fingers, the stairsteps, and a gulch (Jarell's Corner they called it). The gulch was the only part I couldn't get through, probably because I didn't have the CDL engaged. Still debating on the CDL linkage, either the '04 cable route or a manual lever on the underside of the passenger door.

Can you try and post the pics again? you have to have a password to see it on NCLR.
to get the pics to show up, hit post reply at the bottom and under the text box there is a thing that say click here to upload! Thats the easiest way to upload pics.
Thanks, I am also looking to do a lift in the future that why i want to see pics!

Ah, that's right I kept looking above the text box[:@], Thanks Cam. I didn't take any pics of the individual steps as we didn't stop once we started. As a guide I used the Spring & Shock Install write-up in D-Web's tech section.
