Default OME vs. RTE springs

I'm getting ever closer to purchasing the parts for my 2" lift and I'm trying to determine what my setup should be. Right now I'm leaning towards 2" RTE springs (RR4 & RR3) and the OME shocks (N107 & N108). Will the RTE springs give me a full 2" lift? The kit Tony sells at Cerrone's says you'll really only net a 1.5" lift with the all OME setup.

For now I plan on doing some light wheelin' up to moderate. I'll eventually wind up with an RTE front bumper and winch too. Thanx in advance for your advice.

I also went w/RTE 2" coils R4 R1 w.OME heavy duty shocks. It gave me nearly 3 inches.
I haven't utilized fully its capability to hold a heavy bumper in the front...w/the winch.
I love the ride though.

Highly recommended.

The OME's give a 2" plus lift in reality, but because ARB say 1.5"s that is what Tony quotes. E.E. states 2"s.

Depends what you want to do exactly. RTE lifts a little more than the OME. The real purpose of a lift, is to clearan intended tire height while keeping the lowest possible center of gravity.

So, unless you plan on addressing the driveline, brakes andaxle gearing problems that will occur when going over a 31 or 32inch tire, the OMEyields ample clearance for these tire sizes.

The RTE, which is also a very good quality lift, would bea bithigh for those tire sizes.

So, I say go with OME, unless you want to run 33 inch tires.
