Default 2 inch TF lift, and hub O ring fixed

I took the hub off to find it was only the O ring!! Good news, put the new O ring in and no leaks. I borrowed a hub puller from NAPA auto. I had a lot of gear oil splattered on the caliper and wheel and thought the hub was shot but it was only the O ring. I wish I would have checked the O ring before I ordered the hub. I ordered my hub from Roverland and need to return it because I don't need it. It looks like they only give store credit but i'm sure I can come up with something.

I also installed TF+2inch shocks and springs. It took awhile with the spring compressors and jacks but it looks and drives great. Also with 79k all shocks were bad or completely shot. If anyone decides to tackle this in a garage make sure to have plenty of jacks, stands and a plan. I used the bottle jack to compress axle down from the frame to get an additional couple inches to the limit of the brake like to pull out springs. I still needed the spring compressors but didn't have to compress as much. If I had to do again I would have let the weight of the truck compress the springs, put compressors on then jack frame and let axel down.

I just got the ultra guage, good tool. I'm at 206 at idle so I'm getting the 180 original rover t stat this week.

Pics? Sounds like you got yourself a much more comfortable ride, that can tackle a few more trails! And that is always nice! Well done sir!

Thanks, GO HOKIES!!! I'm a Hokie as well, I miss the days riding trails around Blacksburg, many more hills than my current location of Jacksonville FL!! I'll take some pics and post on Monday.

Here is a pic of my TF+2 lift. 180 t stat is all that's left until Head gasket time... and a winch bumper if I somehow get a raise or win the lottery.

I thought stock size tires would look bad with a lift...I was wrong! However, I would suggest some ATs to complete the make-over.

new tires are on the list! The ones on there now are newer tires so I may have to wait awhile. I was thinking of getting another set for trail riding depending on how much I get to go in 2014.
