Default 2" spacer

The springs in my truck have less than 2ooo miles (stock, replaced by p.o) and Bilstein shocks, I was wondering if anyone have used the 2" spring blocks and what I need if I decided to go that route. I know ideally the way to go is purchase new higher springs and shocks but hate to toss new components. Will I need longer brake lines and longer sensors? if that's the case I will just wait ....thanks for the input.

For two inches, your sensors and brake lines will be fine. Your shocks, however, have already been broken in at the height they are at now. You will either need to replace the shocks with new or to get shock mount re-locators to drop your shock mounts a couple inches. Bilsteins are a little expensive, I'd almost recommend dropping the shock mounts. That will also have the side effect of giving you more downward articulation.

I'm planning on putting 2.5" spacers in the back of mine and 2" springs in the front since I already have them, and my shocks are shot so I'd need to replace them either way. I'm debating on just dropping the shock mounts anyway.

Alex makes a good point about the stroke wear. However, up front the bottom of the shock bolts through the spring seat, if I remember correctly. The spring seat gets moved 2" higher with the spacer kit. So the shock continues to operate along the same stroke as it has been. Out back it will be a different story.

I've been driving around on 2" Toddco spacers for two years. I didn't notice any ill effects on well-worn shocks. But I kept my my expectations low. Just now getting close to fitting some new OME springs. But I've gotta find a good deal on some shocks first...
