Default 2 Years of no troubles

Granted, I don't drive my 01 Disco that much and it only has 71k miles on it, but I haven't had any troubles with it since Memorial Weekend 2014. The water pump was leaking so I changed it on that weekend. Other than one oil change and I installed a CDL lever from an 04 in it, I haven't had to turn a wrench on it for 2 years.

Boy oh boy! You just put the hex on yourself big time. Keep us posted on how the head gasket, power steering pump rebuild, new O2 sensors and abs pump jobs go.

X2.

I don't even want to say what I think is wrong with mine out loud for fear of the Land Rover gods casting vengeance. The OP is a brave man indeed. Godspeed sir and may your check balance have many commas and zeros.

Last time I said I hadn't had any problems in 13k miles (about a year), my ckp went out immediately after I spent two days putting together a new exhaust system. Then I broke the harness end clip replacing it. Then I spent three days outside in 30 degree weather and snow working on it trying to get it fixed. Never again.

"So then what's the point in owning a truck? What purpose would it serve if people just bought trucks and all they did was drive them? Owning a truck should be 93% attention to them mechanically and 7% recreational use. "
As quoted by Mr. Landy A. Rover
