It's an easy swap. I recommend purging with nitrogen and checking for leaks before pulling a vacuum and refilling the system

 

 

The whole system has not been cooling a few weeks up to the "smoking pulley". I was just going to replace the whole ac compressor with a used one, thanks to an online member. I don't want to put a lot of money in the D2. Its old and beat up and a third vehicle. I do love it though.
