Default 2000 D2 possible wheel noise

On my 2000 D2 I have a noise that I believe is coming from the right front wheel. It sounds like someone is holding a screwdriver or other metal object to the wheel while it’s spinning….gets faster with speed and is gone at very low speeds. Makes me think a brake caliper is stuck somehow. Has anyone else experienced this? I haven’t taken it to shop yet. Wondered if it’s a simple fix or perhaps what I should examine more closely.

My first guess is something like a pebble caught by the brake backing plate. Very easy fix. Remove your wheel, spin the hub by hand and listen/look for what’s causing the noise.
