hi hopefully someone can help me , just did head gaskets timing chain and gears etc , etc the truck is a 2000 d2 bosch 4.0 litre on the upper intake on the passenger side where the engine breather line goes in and the brake servo vacuum line goes in right underneath the two of them there is another nipple what does this hook up to , for the life of me i cannot find what line goes here , can someone have a look at their truck and let me know what iam looking for anyhelp would be appreciated thanks troy

i think you are talking about the SAI. if you don't have SAI then there is a rubber cover that covers the nipple so it doesn't suck in air.

 

YUP, that is for the SAI if your truck were equipped with it.
