Might be a stupid question but before i head up to Montreal to buy a 2000 Disco for parts could it have a gems engine? Or would it have a bosch? I will call the seller and ask for a picture but i can't say i trust him and it's a 9 hr drive. Thanks for any info.

 

The 2000 would have come from the factory with the Bosch engine. I suppose he could have installed the GEMS engine at some point, but that would have been a serious PITA from the wiring harness differences standpoint.

 

^ exactly. It should be Bosch but you never know what you get when you buy something blind online
