2000 Disco II - Can I drive it without front drive shaft?
In the process of having the front drive shaft rebuit on my 2000 Disco II. In addition, I'm installing an EBC Performance Brake upgrade since I do some towing with it.
Question is, can the Rover be driven while the front driveshaft is out without damaging anything?

The CDL worked great. I was able to keep driving the Disco while the front driveshaft was being rebuilt by a local company ($183 - Universal Products - They also installed Grease Zerks in every u-joint).
Additionally, I got the EBC Performance Brake Upgrade installed - Slotted and dimpled rotors and EBC pads... Wow! What a difference!
Next step is to install a CDL engagement device in the cab... That may come in handy in wintery conditions or really muddy terrain...
