Default 2000 Disco II Just stopped on me today???

I have a 2000 Disco II w/ 68,000 miles on it, I came to a stop sign and tried to take off and the car just died on me. The car was not on empty. I went and put about 1 gallon of gas in the fuel tank then the car started. I went down half a block turned the car off and it will not come back on. It seems that I am not getting fuel, could this be bad fuel injectors or the fuel pump, if so is this something I can replace myself and how much would it cost for parts, or if the dealer needs to do it, what should I expect to pay. If neither any suggestions on what it could be?

Let the car cool down completely (couple hours) and then try to restart. If it restarts, then be prepared to go to the nearest chain auto parts store to have the codes read. No way to know with any reasonable level of certainty until you see what codes are being thrown. MANY things can cause this.

Bad crank sensor, DIY job if you are half way handy, about $70 in parts from AutoZone.
Do like Suede said, let her cool and then try and start her.
This is a common problem on DII's.
When the CKS gets hot it fails, cools then it works, eventually it wont work at all.
