Default 97 disco heater motor just stopped

The heater motor was working fine then today I went out and when I turned it onn all I heard was a click under the passenger's side floor .Where do you start to figure this out thanks

Sounds like the relay is energizing but the contacts to supply the fan are probably bad (Not making contact properly). Test by by-passing the relay.

Try wiggling the switch on all of the different speed settings.
If its not a bad switch then look into the fan motor and wiring.
