Default 2000 Disco II update

I've had my disco for a week as of yesterday and I have put about 200 bucks in it in maintenance. Would have been less but I had to buy an extra u-joint after I trashed a couple of the needle bearings in the final cap of the final u-joint. Anyway I have rebuilt the front driveshaft. Changed the oil to shell rotella 15w40 (this quieted the engine down significantly). Drained the radiator and added new dexcool with a bottle of water wetter. Drained and refilled the transmission. And finally added a bottle of seafoam to a full tank of premium. She really purrs now! The steering wheel still wobbles around 50 mph so I guess that mean new rotors at this point. I can live with it for a bit. Next oil change I will rebuild the rear drive shaft and re-grease the front, drain and fill the transfer case and the front and rear axles. Thanks for all the help especially the link to the service manual.

Incidentally dexcool is high dollar stuff. And rebuilding the front driveshaft wasn't too bad. The secret is a bench vise and a couple sockets.
