Default 2000 Disco wipers going too far??

Hey guys, first post here, but been lurking a while. My Wife bought a 00 Disco from a friend a couple months ago for a steal, and now we're having our first "issue" with it. I am in Afghanistan at the moment, so I can't go out and look at it or I would have. She just replaced the wipers last week (from Atlantic British), and told me 2 days ago that the drivers side was going too far-hanging over the edge of the windshield/pillar. I thought somehow the arm might have jumped a tooth on the mount, but today she says its going too far in the other direction-onto the hood cowling. No clue how this could be happening. Any ideas guys? Obviously I can't fix it from here, but she's fairly mechanically inclined and if someone has run into this problem and can tell me how to fix it, I may be able to walk her through it. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

the arms strip out real easy so more than likely the arm may have moved...I popped the arm off the stub and repositioned the arm to the proper location on the window...add a lock washer to the bolt to keep it from coming loose again...the trim cap should fit back over the nut...

So there's just a pop off cap with a nut underneath? Easy enough. Thank you.

Default What he said...

Had exact same issue when I bought mine. 5 minute fix.

By the way, thanks for your service!

Thanks for the assurance. And, you're welcome but I'm not military. I'm a contractor. You couldn't get me over here for the ridiculously tiny
amount of money our country pays our troops...

Oh, well, thanks anyway - someone has to work over there and help stabilize the infrastructure (which I assume you're doing in one way or another). In the end, we'll all be safer as a result.
