Default 2000 discovery 2 v8 crank but no start

Hello all,
My partner and I recently got a 2000 discovery 2 v8 nas, we new it needed work and now we're stumped.
We got the motor running on the first day by jumping it on it's dead battery and a little starting fluid. It struggled starting but eventually we got it idling. It shut off after a minute or so -like it lost spark- and then fired up immediately again. We drove it around the block let it idle/run for 30-40 minutes.
We tried to start again and it fired right up, after sitting we tried and the battery was too low. We came back the next day and it had a really hard time starting again, but after a while it sputtered back to life and idles perfect again.
The entire time we ran it no fault codes were present other than the low battery circuit from the previously dead battery.
It now cranks fine but does not start, the cranking rpm on the nanocom/scanner is 160-200rpm and it will occasionally catch one cylinder spiking up to 300rpm or pop out the exhaust -once out of the intake-
The MAF is reading 14 g/s while cranking and there's a strong smell of raw fuel out the tailpipe after cranking even for a second.
I checked spark and I used a inline old school tester and it looked like it was a light sparking a lot more than just at the individual cylinder's compression stroke, but one out of 8 sparks was noticably stronger

I have a new cps and a cam sensor ready to put in, but it seems like it is reading rpm fine. I did notice on the nanocom the crank phase 1-4 all are not set, am I right to think the CPS is bad?

Other things to note:
20gal of fresh 91 was out in to dilute existing ~5gal
The bcu and ecm are paired
The driver door has a different key, the electric window doesn't work, and the auto locks don't work either. All other doors work and can be locked/unlocked with the fob and the driver door.

thank you in advance!
Henry

Check fuel pressure, check spark, check for injector pulse.
