Default 2000 Jump Seat Headrest Jam

I have a 2000 discovery 2 and the other week I tried to put one of the jump seat headrests (that are attached to the ceiling) up and I found that the release mechanism on the back seamed to be detached from the spring and pin that keeps it in the down or up position. Just today I figured out that the small panel above the headrest can be easily popped in so I as able to detach the entire headrest from the car.

Now I need help taking the headrest a part to it. It seems that the upholstry is held on by a strong elastic band but aside from that I just cannot figure out how the thing was put together. Any ideas on getting this hecticly horrid headrest healed?

Alright i figured it out!

Turns out that the upholstry is tied on to a metal frame, so I had to pull the upholstry from the bottom (side with the mount) and that revealed where it was connected to the

frame. After that I was able to snap off the back plastic piece. Then I saw where the plastic had broken. To fix it I filed in a notch in the diagonal plastic support and used picture

wire to "rebuild" the piece that had broken off. Then I was surprisingly able to pop the whole thing back together and WALA! no spare parts!
