Default 2000 Land Rover Disco II-Rear Air Bag Replacement

I had my Disco II Rear Air Bag/Spring checked and I was told it needs replacement. I ordered the Air Bag from Atlantic British, just need some helpful advise on replacing it. Anyone familiar with Air Bag installation?

How much did you pay and when were they ordered? Should have gone to British Parts of Utah where they sell Arnott bags for less with a lifetime warranty.
I can walk you thru installing the bags, but if you paid over $115 and got factory bags, I would cancel the order and call the good folks in Utah.

Hey Disco Mike,
Thanks for the reply. I paid $169.95 +S&H for the Air Bag. It has a male screw fitting on one end. Am I supposed to remove that fitting IOT to connect the air hose?

It is easy, in order to avoid death or serious injury remove the ground cable from your battery for 10 minutes before attempting the repair. The only tool you need is a torx screwdriver (T27 as I recall) and a phillips head.
