Edit: it would figure i would get it figured out almost immediately after making this post. Turns out i needed to hit it a little bit harder with my purse while locking it in. Got to do some more cutting on my cover plate tye i can get it all back together


Installing my shifter. Found the switch for the das light. If i cross the 2 wires to the switch dash light comes on. If i connect to switch without it installed and press the plunger light comes on on dash. If i install it the turn the cdl lock on the dash will not light up. I have the set as deep as i can with the jam nut. Even tried another switch no luck.
