Default 2001 discovery 2 with 60,000 miles what’s a fair price?

Hi all I am new to the forum as well as Land Rover. I have both an Austin Healey and MG and looking to buy a discovery to drive to work and back. I found an extremely clean 2001 discovery 2 with 60,000 miles. It’s listed at $12,999. What do you all think a fair price is?

Wow. These listing prices really are going up due to supply and demand.

These are not the kinds of cars for daily drivers. Since you're considering buying; and please be honest with yourself because this is really important.. do you have this:

1) Deep pockets
2) Mechanical Aptitude / skills

Your going to need one of these two - or a combination thereof if you own this car. It requires ongoing work. It likes to be pampered. And if you don't pamper it .... it will throw a hissy fit and you will be late for work.

Quite low miles, seems like that would gold the value higher on these. Granted miles aren't everything on cars in general. But 12k seems high.

Is this being listed by a used car dealership or an individual seller?
