Default 2001 Discovery

I have a 2001 discovery II. I keep hearing water moving in the dashboard. Kind of swishing back, and forth. Has anyone else had this problem and if so please help me

Your coolant is low. How did it get that way is the real question. Fill it up, bleed it, and look for leaks. The throttle body heater is a common place.

And that, plus leaking hose clamp, is the cheap fix. Then we start marching toward other nasty problems, that end up with combustion gas in coolant, which shows up as same noise, and is a strong indicator if it continues to return, of head gasket issues. As frequently mentioned on this site, weekly underhood fluid inspection is a good practice. The D2 always has coolant circulating thru the heater core (no matter if heat is on or off), so any bubbles that circulate make this noise. jafir is right, how it got low is the big question.

Go get the coolant system pressure tested to find and fix the leak.

Had a pressure test done and there are no leaks, any other suggestions? Thanks for your help.

How long at at what air pressure did they test it for?
If it is not a leak, then you have an a/c drain plugged up. Should do a search on this forum for a/c drain tube blockage and follow the directions.
