Will the bumper from the 2002-2004 model year bolt right on to a 1999? The PO of my truck did some cosmetic damage and I’ve been looking to replace it and I’ve found a good deal on one but it’s for the facelifted version from the later years. I’ve done some thread searching and the answer seems to be yes, but no one ever comes back and says “I did it and it bolted right on.”

 

Yes. I don't want to say that it'll bolt right on because nothing is ever easy, but it should fit with no modifications.

 

I've got a rover that somebody put a newer bumper and grill on - I had to add the trim that goes under the headlights and do a little work with the Dremel to get everything to fit, over all not too bad. I don't know if the older style grill would work . . .

 

Thanks guys, especially for the pic T-Rex, I was curious how it would look. Unfortunately my good deal was sold ahead of me being able to get to it but now I'm ready to pull the trigger should I see one again!

 

Yes, it will work. You need the late model and fender liners. Small gap at the corner of the headlights but not too bad.
