Default 2002 Disco II - fuel line/filter problem?

I tried to start my truck this morning and it didn't start. I had not driven it much in the past week, because I was on vacation, and no driving at all in the last 4 days I think. Anyway, I assumed it was probably the battery, so I get the AAA guy out to my place to give me a jump. He shows up and hooks up his battery diagnostic gadget and says its not the battery. He asks me to try and start it, and he says it is probably something preventing fuel from getting to the spark plugs.

The last time I had driven it, there were no signs of impending doom, and the two little lights that flash when the battery is starting to die were not flashing.

The starter sounds fine as far as I can tell.

I did the head gaskets a little less than 3 years ago. Battery is a little less than 2 years old.

I am fairly comfortable working on this truck, but I am now a medical resident, and I simply don't have the time.

Any ideas? Fuel line/filter? Or something else it could be?

Thanks!

D2's do not have in-line fuel filters./ Do you have any fault code numbers if so what are they?

Have you reset the enirita switch on the fire wall. have you ever replaced your crank position sensor?

I have done neither. Where is the crank position sensor located? Is it easy to reach?

The inertia switch would just be a fuse, right? Pull and replace?
