Default 2002 Disco Oil Leaks

Had my Disco that I just bought inspected by an independant shop I used to take my cars to. It was a very comprehensive inspection. Everything was in great shape except for a few noted small leaks and the serpentine belt needing replacement. Brakes were like new. They couldn't pin point the leaks but said could be cam seal, valve cover, and rear main seal. He said they were not major but would need to be replaced at some point. But couldn't verify where the leak was without putting dye into the oil and testing

The dealer I bought the vehicle from is having his mechaninc look at it as well and will make any needed repairs. But his take was any car can leak.

Is the Disco II really prone to oil leakage? What would you determine major and at what point would you replace seals or repair? This vehicle only has 45K miles.

A little prone to leak/ seeping, but usually nothing to worry about.
If you are reall worried about it, degrease the engine, top to bottom then power wash it.
Keep an eye on is when it is clean and get cack to us when you come up with the general locations of the leaks.
