Clear coat is failing on my hood. Repaint is $600-700. I found a place in Tampa that has a hood in same color but it is for a 2002. Any difference between a 2002 hood and a 2004?

 

No difference at all between the hoods.

However, I don't think that color was available in 2004. That looks like a Blenheim Silver truck (same color as my 2000), which was available on the D2 99-02, not 03-04. It's kind of a silvery-beige color. There is also a White Gold, which is more gold.

For 03/04, the silver is Zambezi Silver, which is much more silver without the beige tone. In 2003, but not 2004, there was still White Gold.

I believe the Land Rover lettering may be slightly different between the years, but physically the pieces are the same.

I found a shop near me that did the roof and hood for $500 and both front quarters for 250$ more... Maybe look around some more....
