im new at this ... Just purchased my 2002 Land Rover disco 2 with a bad fuel pump. Looking around, obviously found prices all over the rainbow . Can someone suggest what I can buy (OG vs After Market) ? Based on experience ... is there a good after market available ? I will appreciate your feedback.

Does your D2 have SAI or no? If it does fuel pumps are around 45-75.00 and I've used plenty of Ebay SAI D2 fuel pumps without any issues. If you don't have SAI the fuel pump is a bit more expensive ranging from 150.00 to 200.00.

 

Rock auto has great prices on Bosch pumps, which as far as I know were the oem supplier. I've never used a super cheap eBay pump, but willing to try after my last Bosch pump threw three codes after one year.

You might do a search on here. There was a ford I think unit that costs about 60 bucks that I used 3 years ago and its still going strong. It looks different but plugs right in.
