2003 D2 - Parts Request
Greetings Land Rover owners,
This summer I was in a collision with my 2003 D2 where I rear ended another vehicle. I have an ARB bumper (not sure on the exact part number, it was installed when I bought it) and the impact absorbers that came installed behind my bumper were collapsed from the collision. They are no longer usable since now if I use them my bumper guard touches my headlights.
I have been working with 4wd parts for the last few months to get a part, they've been working with ARB, but it's been about 4 months and ARB still isn't sure of an ETA on when they'll have one of the parts. I got one side, but not the other. I am missing this part: ARB 3751759SP and it is listed by ARB as IMPACT ABS ASSY.
Can anybody assist in what they've done in the past when these collapse? Or a place to order them? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the crush cans did there job. That's awesome. Last wreck I had with a steel bumper in a disco made my radiator and engine kiss.
Fixing it was welding and a torch.
Land Rover Part # DXE100200 for the crush cans. If you're not running a winch, the alluminum ones are fine.

I actually have not reached out to the other companies, I'll do that today, good thought.
As for the aluminum cans, I do plan to put on a winch to the rover soon, so I would prefer to not have the aluminum on there, but if I can't find the ARB ones I might end up doing it anyway and trying to reinforce with steel bars on the side.

Every other Land Rover website that sells parts also pulls their ARB crush cans directly from ARB. So aside from maybe finding them in a junkyard, I'm stuck waiting until the parts are delivered.
Anybody on here seen an ARB bumper at a junk yard or know somebody who's willing to sell?
