Make sure it’s a Bosch MAF or you will have problems.

 

.... there has been comments about disconnecting the battery for a a certain period of time to clear faults and or reset things ...? .... any advice on this would be appreciated ...... !

the new MAF arrived but i have not changed it as the fuel consumption is still OK.... so keeping the MAF as a spare ..!

i am getting around 450km's per tank ...combination of city and hwy driving

 

So you are around 5km per liter ... since your tank is 95L

 

that sounds about right ..... !

 

Considering car age Sounds normal .. and good.
that means 11 mpg city drive .. 14mpg high way .. 12 combined..
