Looking to buy, but what is this dash light??

Also don't think it should idle at 1000 rpm??

 

Brake light.

Either the parking brake isn't disengaged, the parking brake switch broke apart and is grounded to the chassis (this happened to me), you're low on brake fluid, or there's a EBD (electronic brake force distribution, it's like an ABS assisted proportioning valve) fault.

 

1000RPM is fine for a cold idle (indicated by your temp gauge). It will drop when the engine hits normal operating temperature.

 

750 is considered the normal operating temp.
