2003 Disco firing order?
Can anyone tell me what the firing order is for a 2003 discovery 4.6L. Thanks.
Also, I am guessing the coils are on the rear of the engine from the complaints the mechanic were making today. The wiring configuration for these would be very handy as well
I took the truck in today for a tuneup. Supposed to be $300 as cylinder #4 was misfiring. Thought it was pricy, but plugs cost 14 each and new wires were 100, so I cold deal with it. Now cylinder number 5 and 7 are misfiring truck runs like a bag of smashed aholes and jerkes and shakes like crazy and the bill was $500+ to get me here. I am wondering if these wires are on the wrong plugs and would like to go in early to check for myself.
Thanks for your help.
Mike.

So, why did you take your truck to someone who doesn't have a clue about what he is working on.
You always replace your plug wires at the 60K, using only 8 mm Magnacor wires and either Bosch Plus 4's or Champion dual Platinum.
Usually the manifold must come off, unless you have a talented mechanic, and the usual labor alone is $450 to $600 alone.
So what exactly have they tried to do and with what brand of parts? This is important, and it sounds like neither you or the shop knows what to do.
