It’s here! Now the work begins... Some dipstick had a subwoofer installed, finished removing all that crap, I prefer stock even if it’s not great. 1 gauge wiring (actually done very well and professional, although I found some exposed wires above the transmission, maybe the parking brake sensor for aftermarket radio? Wiring was my primary concern and other than a few I can see around the transmission, all appears to be stock. The ignition wires aren’t stock though...

Was a little annoyed, took 4 hrs to free the left rear from the hub. Lots of penetrating oil and a 30lb sledgehammer work.

Don’t misunderstand, I’m wanting to go in eyes wide open. Before I invest a dime, I’ll make sure the title is clean. I have it, but that doesn’t mean a thing until I go to the dmv to be sure, and Have a new issued in my name. It shows as two owner, but I think third didn’t ever swap it, and receipts I found don’t agree location of the title owner. Not a big deal as it’s always been in Colorado and from I can tell never seen anything off-road. Having a few over the years, I can tell what’s been driven on road vs. off road. I don’t abuse my LR3, but trust me off roading places rocks and mud not normally found...

The interior has some normal wear and tear, mostly I’m finding things not reinstalled correctly. Atlantic British will see a decent 2021 bank of orders from me for plastic prices that cracked.

Bottom line I was most concerned about wiring, which is good. No rust at all, frame looks new. Pulled most of the interior near the doors and nothing concerning.

Late last night I remembered I have the expensive full service manual for 199-2002, but really is applicable to this as only the stroke is different, nothing else. Heck I found the original brochure for 2003!
