Default 2003 Discovery Engine Problem where do I start.

I have a 2003 Land rover discovery . I have used this forum before for expert help with issues and you guys have been a blessing. My problem started yesterday when I was driving home it shuttered for a second and then everything was fine. Stopped at the store and went to crank it, it turned over and over then it ran for a second. Cranked it again did the same thing but this time it stayed running. Drove it home. this morning same problem left it at the house. No lights warning lights. What things can I check first. Could it be a Fuel filter if there is one, Plugs,Fuel Pump? Other than this it runs great. I have one hundred and ten thousand miles. Thanks for any help Mark

I concur with the CPS. A fuel filter will show up when trying to accelerate - not at idle or start up.

yes it is a CPS...

its easy to change...

-jack the truck up on ramps
-crawl under and remove the cover for the CPS
-remove sensor and swap in another ..(i have a good CPS i can sell to you)

reverse the steps...

you really need to get the RAVE manual..... infact do this first....
