Does the fuse blow out immediately or, just when you actually turn a/c ON?

If you have never tried tracking down a short or damaged wire harness, you need to quit replacing the fuse, causing more damage, and get it to a good qualified mechanic.

You replaced a fuse that was originally 10amp, with a 20amp? You should NEVER do this! The fuses are there as a safety: they are designed to blow when a problem is present in that circuit. They blow before the excessive current takes out something more expensive than a $0.25 fuse.

Time to break out RAVE, find the the wiring diagrams, find out what all is in that circuit, and check every wire for a short to ground, or short to power.

yeah, not good to just keep burning fuses and NEVER a higher amp fuse, that will do some serious damage!!! You should track it down, then fix it then try another fuse. Sounds like a definite short. In my experience, when you find the cause of the short you'll know it. Fix what's wrong, replace fuse, THEN add a new fuse. In other words wait until it's fixed and tested before trying a new fuse, better than doing more damage... or lighting a fire!!! Good luck man.

Well I found out why I keep burning the a/c fuse..... It doesn't matter if the a/c was switch to on position or off.... Turns out that the left side vanity mirror light switch broke and the light stays on for about 2 years and because it's a small light I never noticed it.... This light raises up the tempeture on the small wire harnes ending up melting and toasting the sun visor light, causing the fuse to burn with out turning the a/c on..... End of story.
