Default 2003 Discovery rear wiper arm "spring" ...HELP!

I replaced the rear wiper arm but now I have a new problem.
OK, so I removed the spare tire on the back to get to the wiper assembly. The rear wiper arm is now replaced, I tested it and...the wiper does not sit flush with the rear window. I noticed that on the washer fluid line there is a "spring" with a curled hook at each end. I assume that is to keep the tension on the wiper arm so the wiper blade will sit flush against the rear window.
But, I do not see where to hook these "spring" hooks? Anyone help me out here? I'm in my cold driveway and I'm running out of sublight. A drawing or schematic would be even better.
Thanks guys, as always----
Kurt

Sorry I cant be of more help but there will be hooks on each end where the spring goes too.
Look at the old arm and see how the spring attches.
You can also look at your front arms to give you a idea.
