Default 2003 discovery se7 speedometer not working

Good evening.

I'm a new member here. my discovery speedometer used to bounce around while raining out or very humid.. As soon as the weather would dry up, it would work normally, this was happening for a few years.. it finally kicked the bucket about two months ago.
i decided to plug in a o.B d scanner and go to the live data. as i'm driving around the v s s shows the miles per hour, which rules out the fact that the wheel speed sensors, our faulty or the computer and the slabs unit is not working..

I then started poking around and purchased a speed transducer, which I know is mounted inside the transmission.. never found it never installed it.. About a week ago, the speedometer was working again for about twenty miles and then stopped..

Spoke to someone at Atlantic British. That has the same vehicle, and he tells me that I must find and follow the wire harness from the instrument cluster, we took underneath the dash through the firewall and see if there is a short..

For the life of me, I cannot determine what's what..

Does anyone have any idea where the speed transducer wire is ? i'd be very grateful for any help. i've owned this vehicle since brand new 22 years now. And it's been one of the biggest pleasures and pains in my life! just went through a huge head, gasket job, and many other upgrades and accessories.. i refuse to give this truck up.Can somebody please help me with this speedometer
