I just bought a 2003 land rover discovery and its decent shape for 2000$. One personal nitpick I have is that the leather on both front seats have shrunken slightly so the seats look deformed. The leather is also as hard as cardboard in spots. Has anyone experienced this? been able to fix it?

 

I would recommend replacing the seat cushions, there are a few write ups on how to do it. But, basically, start looking for seat cushions that match your color interior, you can use passenger for driver side and vice versa (they are interchangeable).
