2004 D2 Cylinder 2 Misfire/Backfire - Replaced all plugs wires and ignition packs
I've been working on my D2 for a while can't seem to find a solution just started missing and backfiring out of the exhaust one day. It only happens under load and I have replaced all the plugs new magnecor wires and a new ignition pack.
Tried to find this same problem on the forums but most are fixed with new plugs/wires.
I did a compression test on cylinder 2 and it looks good throwing codes P0302 and P1319.
Also definitely cylinder two only when I unplug #2 sparkplug backfire goes away completely.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I love my Kent Sports H180, but most guys go with various Crower cams. Your push rods should be fine, I'd also go with some Rhoads Bleed Down lifters if you can spare the extra cash, they give an extra little bump at lower RPM. Also, be sure to use Diesel oil. Rotella.
Kent and Crower, both should work great(probably cheaper than OEM). I will second the Rhoads lifters. Get a cam made for low end torque, and not high rpm power.
Be sure and follow the cam break-in procedure to the T.
