How do you like the geolanders? and congrats on finishing a long job.
Thanks Whowa. I'm glad its done. Just hope I did everything right and nothing blows up on me while driving.
Got about 1000 miles on the Geolanders including the trip up to Uwharrie. They performed well at Uwharrie and seem to be holding up well on the highway for a mud tire. Quieter than I expected.
Replaced the axle seal - no big deal. We'll see if that fixes the leak.
Loose cat element was actually not a loose element - it was a loose heat shield.
Clunking over bumps was actually loose rear shocks.
Getting misfire codes - P0300, P0304, P0303, P0306, P0305. Upon inspection i found an O2 sensor with wiring that was frayed from rubbing up against the driveshaft so I guess I will start there.

should be an easy fix at least! These rigs are a bit like an unhappy toddler at times, aren’t they?
Starting the next evolution: aesthetics. Going to get the disco painted and the headliner reupholstered. Already took it to the upholstery shop and they have it removed. I’m going to bring it by again after paint to have it reinstalled.
This weekend is all about prepping for paint. I have removed the sun roofs and the nerf bars (which were full of water!). Tomorrow I pull off the rear bumper and remove the black herculiner from the roof. Also decided to blow out the drain tubes with compressed air while I had the available. Headliner removed Nerf bars leaking water One down - one to go! Blowing out the drain tubes
Got a good portion of the Noico in. Should be able to finish it up tomorrow. Also got all the Herculiner off the roof. One more pass with 600 grit and I should be ready to take it in on Monday Sanding turned out to be the easiest way to get the Herculiner off. Herculiner removed Noico applied much easier than the Reflectix I used before
