Default 2004 Disco II (Rotors)

I own a 2004 Discovery S. I am looking to replace my rotors with a set of DBA Gold Series. I need some help with the part numbers. I was informed by a forum member that the correct part numbers are:

Fronts - DBA 4528XS
Rears - DBA 4093XS

However, when checking a few websites "Does this Fit My Vehicle" the common response indicates "NO" and that these are for the HSE model.
Any suggestions?

My understanding is DBA no longer makes a rotor for the D2's. That being said, go to British Parts of Utah, they sell a set that are made in the UK.
What are you planning to use for pads? I would suggest you consider a set of Akebono ceramic pads for the best results.

Disco Mike,
I understand that DBA no longer makes rotors for the D2. However, that does not eliminate previously manufactured items. I see previous posts from you on this site with multiple recommendations that forum members go with the DBA rotors. Therefore, part numbers must exist. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I have the Akebono ceramic pads in hand.
regards,
Dan

Good luck finding them. Of the places I checked that listed them, they no longer had them. I just bought a set of EBC rotors and Akebono pads for both axles after trying to locate a set of DBA rotors. The fronts should be the 528's and the rears are 093's. They had slotted, street slotted, and 4000 series so the numbers might be 4528xslr. These numbers will fit an S, SE or HSE. On Discovery's, the amount of letters on the badge didn't change the size of the brakes.

EBC is about twice the price of the StopTech cross drilled/slotted rotors.

Amazon.com: Stop Tech 127.22004L Sportstop Slotted and Drilled Brake Rotor: Automotive Amazon.com: Stop Tech 127.22004L Sportstop Slotted and Drilled Brake Rotor: Automotive

Maybe for good reason, but I couldn't find it.

The EBC's were $171 for the fronts and $138 for the rears. They are sold as pairs, which to me is the only way rotors should be sold. With the Akebono pads, I spent $438. Shipping was free because I spent over $75.

No, the EBC are not twice the price. You have to shop around. I bought mine at Place for Brakes. When I bought them nobody was cheaper than them. The total was $316.00 with free shipping for the four EBC rotors (UPR994 UPR957) and the Akebono brake pads (EUR676 EUR493).

I bought the GD series slotted and dimpled rotors. I figured the extra $100 was worth it if I get any improvement in the braking.

We have had Great luck with the terrafirma rotors. At $50 each is hard to beat them.
