Even your return hose doesn't have to be anything special OEM genuine. I replaced mine with a hose cut to fit from autozone and shaped it with springs about 3 years ago and it still works fine

I used the GM Cold Climate P/S fluid that matches the specs that the D2 calls for. I added a little Lucas P/S conditioner as well. I just drained it out through the bleed plug, and filled the reservoir with new, not letting the reservoir drop below hale full. I did not replace the pump or hoses in my case.

Genuine GM Fluid P/N 12345867 (32oz)
Genuine GM Fluid P/N 12345866 (16oz)

Some dealerships have it, some may have to order it, or you can get it at Amazon.com or other online sites.
