Default Crank Position Sensor cable

I think I am screwed. I noticed a break in one of the wires in the female end of the connection - (the one that goes back to wherever behind the engine) when I was assessing how I was going to replace the main unit. Where does that end go and what's typically the cost to replace that?

I will need to replace the whole line from the connector back to ? because of a disconnected wire in the connector. Problem is I don't know where it originates or what the part to purchase is called.
