Honestly that's the best thing about discos if you can do your own repairs. Most people don't, and most shops charge an arm and a leg, so the only people who don't sell them for peanuts are die hards and home mechanics.
I've worked on a ton of cars, my own mostly, but I have to say that so far the disco seems pretty easy actually. Hell, I haven't even had to get the jack out yet!

correct. they are not budging on pricing. i contacted them with a fair offer and they declined twice. stated that this will sell for $25k.

I think they should put it in a time capsule for fifty years and HOPE that Discovery IIs become sought after classics. Then they MIGHT get 25k, not adjusting for inflation. Wow. Ridiculous.

I could see MAYBE $18 - $19k for that. I'm sure it's in the top 5 lowest mileage Disco's in the country. I searched for 7 months to find my SE7 with 83k miles and one owner. Super clean, fully serviced and not leaking anywhere (yet). I paid $12k including shipping from OR to VA and I thought that was too much (but I wanted it and was tired of waiting). For the extra $13k I could have a new motor, cooling system, brakes and paint. I'm positive the person who pays $25k for this peach will have no idea that it will still need all the love and service that a higher mileage truck will.

here is another "top 5":

Land Rover Discovery SE | eBay

no affiliation with the vehicle just appreciating it's preservation in a time capsule.

For $27500 they might want to take some better pictures! It looks to me like the drivers door was painted.

agree. if you want top dollar go the extra mile and photograph everything and photograph well in addition show paperwork of service records and any other document that may be of concern or importance.

i thought the same about the door but going to give them the benefit of the doubt that it is a tree shadow considering they photograph in a wooded area. the discoloration is concentrated in one area not across the entire panel(s).
