Hi Everyone,
I presently own a '98 Disco and it's coming to the point of upgrading to a newer one and I've been looking at an 04 with great KM's and had a easy driven life. From what im told by some people is that 2004 was a bad year for land rovers and they should all be avoided.. (Discos and RR's are always making non stop trips to the shop) - Does anyone else feel the same way? Anyone want to help shed some light before I regret the purchase on what seems to be a great deal.
Thanks In advance
Greg

For what it's worth I love my '04 and the problems I've had have been the main ones you'll see time and time again on this forum with all discos(three amigos, ABSmodule, u-joints, minor coolant leak, door lock actuators, etc.) And as far as disco's go, most people on here would agree that the '04 is the BEST model you can buy as far as reliability and off-roading because they brought back the CDL.
