Default 265/60/18 BFGoodrich Long Trail tires?

Are these good tires? I have an 'opportunity' that I really can't pass up unless someone has good advice against them. I have the 18" 'Hurricane' rims, but these tires sound good.

I've never had the Long Trail BFG's but I've loved the BFG AT's and MT's I've had. Running BFG KM2's right now and love them. I think any BFG would be a pretty good tire.

What are you planning on using the tires for, will you be doing much wheeling? For the most part, they don't hold up or compare to the quality of the AT's and MT's.
You may have better options.

A general all around tire. My Disco II is my daily driver, but I want it to be able to go wheeling from time to time without hassle. I've heard good things about the General Grabber A/T, and I like the look of the Nitto Terra Grappler... Basically I have no idea about anything. I just know that the current tires are A.) Street Tires and B.)Need to be replaced within the next 10k miles more than likely.

These are a bit on the larger side of things so a lift would be recommended:

There is an interesting article on the cooper website about these tires and land rovers
