Default 2k Disco II Clock removal

The bulb on my clock has been out for a while, I finally have a replacement and the procedure for removing the clock is just carefully remove it. Any specifics on this? Any tools or tips on removing the clock/door button without breaking it?

If I can get this out, is the bulb accessible, or is there further disassembly required? Thanks, Tom in San Antonio

It is as you say just "lever" it out carefully. Its best to use something wide and thin, like a credit card, but obviously stiffer.

insert a butter knife on the top edge, theres a clip up there you need to depress, then with something else, gently pry it out, top first

Got it out thanks for the advice, it would have been helpful if the service manual had the location of the clips. Replacing the bulb took a while to figure out that the foam band around the clock has a cut out to replace the bulb. I tried for about 15 minutes to remove the back of the clock but no luck, then it made sense. All put back together and actually working.

No back to figuring out the passenger door latch and door frame...
