Default 99 Discovery II LowRider?

I just got home from work and I found my 1999 Discovery IIdropped from the back. I have not turned the truck on for almost a week. Is this normal? I freaked out because this is the first time the truck doesthis to me!

Something is up with your SLS.
Does it raise back up when you turn the truck on?

I agree...there are airbag suspension in the rear. It's pretty cool if you keep an eye out for it because as passengers jump out of the truck, it will actually drop air or add air appropriately.

If it's sitting really low and it doesn't re-inflate, it would kind of indicate something is up with the air compressor, the electrical or the main air feed. If it does reinflate but only on one side, you probably got a busted air-bag on the other side.

I see that you can buy replacement air bags or you can just toss out the entire system and put in coil springs instead.

If the trk has sat for a week without being started dont worry about it, the system is NOT airtight, but if it happens overnight, then you have a problem.

Did both side drop evenly?
Start your motor, make sure your doors are closed and it should raise back up.
No, this is not normal. If it happens again get back to us.

If you have the money, it is a wise decision to get rid of the air suspension system. Its a never ending problem, that is very expensive. Father switched his Range Rover over forever ago, and was very happy with it.

Houston,
Is that first hand experience or are you just passing on old wives tails?

Hey guys!! my Discovery is not looking like an LowRider anymore. When my uncle finally got the truck on it lifted to its normal height. I had never had a problem with the bags in the past.
