i recently bought a 2000 disco, runs great havent had one problem with it. During the last month (20in of snow) i noticed my abs doesnt work. my ? is could the previous owner have bypassed the 3 amigos?

 

Do you have the three lights on the dash. Does the traction control work?

 

Find a shop and have the ABS codes read, get back to us with the codes and estimate.

 

no lights are on. couple of months ago i got the truck inspected .they ran codes ,one came up rough road ??? dont know if that has to do with brakes or not.

 

Sounds light you got screwed. If you have a 1590 ABS/rough road fault code and your ABS is not working I would bet some one taped you warning light closed. When you turn your key to the second position do the 3 lights come on along with all the other then go off?

 

Just checked all lights come on except traction control and ABS. So does it mean that it has 3 amigos? should i get it fixed ?

The 3 amigos is an issue D2 owners have to deal with since they have more electrical gizmos to go wrong.

 

So, if you are saying that the warning lights for the ABS, TC and Hill Decent don't come on when the key is in the 2nd. position, then someone has messed with your truck and you need to have a mechanic look into it.
