No... I didn't because I wanted to do the option b regardless, but you're right, I jumped the gun... Should have done an ABS code read before doing option b

My OBS reader says No Codes but.... still seeing the 3 amigos on the dash, haven't tried running the rig yet (still up on blocks)

No, there wasn't evidence of brake fluid on the SV switch assembly... I tried testing with an ohm meter but mine is an automatic read and it wasn't picking up anything

The weird thing is that I ran the scan tool and it found no codes... but still see the amigos on the dashboard... have only started, have not "run" the vehicle (I'm on blocks)

If you're putting the truck in gear that will probably trigger codes by itself. The rotational speed of all four wheels must match, or the SLABS ECU will think there's a problem causing one wheel to spin at a different rate than another. If one wheel isn't spinning at all it may assume failed WSS. Typically TC will kick in, or ABS if you're on the brakes, but I don't believe you'll be able to troubleshoot this much further until you get it on the ground.

What scan tool are you using? Many scan tools will read engine management codes only, not Land Rover ABS (or other) codes.

You're only looking at engine codes, not ABS codes. You need to get hold of something more sophisticated that will show you what's going on in other systems.

When you successfully clear LR ABS faults you will have just the ABS light on upon startup. Then when you move between 5-10MPH the SLABS will see the input from the sensors and turn off the ABS light. If you still have all the fault lights on = you still have stored codes in the SLABS unit or you still have something wrong like a bad sensor, sensor connection.

Drats... Is it worth buying something more sophisticated to be able to clear the codes? And any recs for what to buy?

If you plan to keep your D2 for a long time a Nanocom is worth it. I think the most capable LR scan tool, but also probably the priciest.
