well I have been visited by the 3 little friends. I did the wiring bypass method using the two wire connecter. following the step by instructions. Well I still have them .


any ideas? anyone in the Toronto area with an abs scanner?

 

Sure, that doesn't fix anything but the grounding issues, there are a total of 16 reasons for the lights to come on, you need to use a 3 amigo scanner and get the fault codes, then fix and clear your problem

I had the 3 amigos and purchased an Autel 619 scanner for around $160. After updating it was able to read the abs codes and clear them.

 

I rented one here and was very happy to say goodbye to my little friends!

Does anyone know if the Harbor Freight Cen Tech 60794 is a "re-badged" Autel 619? Or has anyone tried the HF ABS scan tool on their 'Rover?

 

The harbor freight 60794 is a rebadged Autel MS609 which may be able to read the ABS codes depending on the updates. However, it may not be available. I ordered one online a couple weeks ago and the order is still processing. I finally gave up and bought the AL619, since I knew it would work.
