Default 3" D1 rovertym springs

Found a set a almost brand new rovertym springs on CL...will these work on a D II even if they are for a D I?

Any insight is appreciated!

Yes they would. 3 inch lift on a D1, Defender 90 and Range Rover Classic will be a 3 inch lift. On a D2 it will be a 4 inch lift because of the front lower spring mount, you would also need a 1 inch spacer in the rear to level it out. All Land Rover springs are the same diameter which makes them inter change. You would have progressive springs in the front and standard springs in the rear

Mid 80's Bronco springs will also work and are super cheap. You just have to cut them to make them short or you start with about a seven inch lift. They're also super stiff.

You might also need some different front spring plates for the d1 springs since the D1 springs are flat on the top and bottom but the D2 springs are just cut off on the bottom. I'm going to be using D1 rear spring plates with washers and longer bolts to raise the shock since the spring plate doesn't have a square hole for the shock.
