Default 3" lift & 32.5" tires... sensor issues?

Hi Folks, I just ordered up the 3" Terrafirma lift with extended brake lines and I'm in the process of getting new tires for the Disco.

I looked around and found decent Good Year's at approx. 32.5" or 265/70/18 to be more precise.

The tech at the tire shop mentioned that increasing the size of the tire might trip off the ABS sensors and shift points in the transmission... I'm a newbie to the Disco's so is there anything I need to do when increasing the tire diameter?

You shouldn't have issues with that tire size. I am running 265/75's without any problems.

At 3" of lift you'll need to look into extending your ABS lines as they will be stretched pretty far. 3" will also change your drive line angles.

Purely adding a lift/tires will not trip the ABS sensors.

You can go 3"s without replacing the ABS lines, may just need to rerout them and you'll be fine.

265/70/18 is not a problem

Anything bigger than 285/65/18 and you are getting risky
